Mount Teide, with a height of 3,715 meters, is the highest peak in Spain and one of the main attractions of Tenerife. A visit to Teide is best started at the Teide National Park. You can get there by car or use public transportation. Once there, several hiking trails are awaiting us. For those who do not wish to reach the summit on foot, a cable car is available, operating up to 3,555 meters. A prior permit from park authorities is required to reach the very top.
Anaga Massif
